Subject:                Member Statements

 

We have requested that each member of the system designate a single individual for coverage under the single survivor benefit.  Information from the single survivor designation forms is currently being input into each individual member account.     

 

PERS will not issue member statements until such time as the single survivor information can be input into the member accounts.  We anticipate that we will be able to begin issuing statements on a rotational basis beginning in May 2002.  If you have employees needing retirement account information before then, please have them contact our Membership Division.
